The Grand Cinemas brand has become a statement of quality entertainment throughout the region. The Grand Cineplex - the flagship of the group - showcases a state of the art facility and opened in 2000. Grand Cinemas has consistently strived to set the industry standard Ð and succeeded. The proof is in the steady proliferation in Grand Cinemas, having acquired the Al Massa cinemas in 2003, followed in 2005 by the acquisition of Century Cinemas.
Today, the Grand Cinemas name stands boldly over 16 multiplexes, with a spectacular tally of 130 screens. Strategic initiatives aim towards a staggering 160 screens and over 30,000 seats by end 2007.
