In a spectacular 2008, Grand Cinemas raised the bar yet again.

2008 was an exciting time to be part of the Grand Cinemas experience. Not only did we see the release of some of the most enormous films in history, we also revved up the engines for a new stage in our E/Ticket system and launched E/Kiosk, making it possible for you to buy your movie tickets both online and at dedicated kiosks at our theatres.

In August, thousands turned out for the opening of Grand Festival Cinemas in Dubai Festival City - our most sumptuous location yet - with the introduction of Grand Class, RealD and Digital Cinema.

2008 has also seen Gulf Film-distributed titles leading the box office time and again, with films like Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Incredible Hulk, The Forbidden Kingdom and many more.

And the expansion continues. In the coming months, we turn our attention to two sizzling hot new locations in Lebanon - ABC Dbayeh and Grand Landmark.

Expect 2009 to be just as thrilling a ride as we look to take the Grand standard ever higher.
